Brock Taylor

2026 LMAC Hall of Fame Inductee

Since 2004, Brock Taylor, his wife Kelly and their three sons have owned and operated Taylor Auctions, Exports and Assembly Yard in Melita, Manitoba. The market at Melita is one of only three family-owned and operated markets in the province. The Taylor family also works closely on the farm and in the auction business, selling land, equipment, and cattle. On the family ranch at Reston, Manitoba, Brock runs 1000 head of cattle on the grass. He is a second-generation auctioneer, following in his father Ross’s footsteps, and continuing the legacy, is Brock’s eldest son, Austin.

Brock has been president of both the Livestock Markets Association of Canada and the Manitoba Livestock Marketing Association. He was on the LMAC board of directors for many years, serving on many committees. He has been on the MLMA board of directors and has been part of the MLMA Cattlemen’s Golf committee in Manitoba. Brock is always the first to offer help when industry calls and is very active in community organizations in Southwestern Manitoba. Taylor Auctions is always a generous sponsor of industry and community events.

Brock has attended every convention and competed in every LMAC auctioneering Championship for over 25 years and has hosted the Man/Sask Auctioneering Championship.

Brock has been very actively involved throughout the entire livestock industry, tirelessly promoting LMAC and showing his dedication to true price discovery.
