The Livestock Markets Association of Canada has a new President. Allan Munroe from Killarney, Manitoba, was appointed by the LMAC membership at the LMAC Annual Meeting held in Medicine Hat, Alberta, on May 9, 2026. Munroe had served as Vice-President for the past two years. Munroe replaces Craig Jacklin, who completed his three-year term as President.

Munroe is also the current President of the Manitoba Livestock Marketing Association. The LMAC Board of Directors unanimously recommended Munroe’s appointment as President for the next three years to the LMAC membership. Allan Munroe is very active on a number of industry committees, both Nationally and Provincially. He is also very involved in a number of community and industry events.

Allan and his wife Tammy own and operate the Killarney Auction Market. Munroe will serve a 3-year term as LMAC President.
