Danny Skeels from Rimbey, Alberta, was re-elected to his second term as Director at Large at the LMAC Annual Meeting in Medicine Hat on May 9, 2026. Skeels won on the first ballot, over 6 other candidates seeking election.

Skeels and his wife, Karen, own and operate Anchor D Simmentals at Rimbey. He is the appointed representative from VJV Marketing Group in Rimby. As both Canadian and World Auctioneering Champion, Skeels brings a valuable skill set to LMAC. His Anchor D-sired calf sales have been very successful, and he auctions a large number of purebred seedstock sales every year.
